Welcome to NORTHOPEDIC. We are Vancouver's premier shoe modification centre, servicing the needs of foot care specialists and their patients, province wide.

The prescription form shown on the left provides a brief outline of the services we offer, ranging from external lifts and rockers, sole flares and buttresses, shanks, lace to Velcro conversions, along with balloon patches, repairs and more. Our orthopedic expertise includes modifications to footwear only; we do not create or modify orthotics.

All footwear needing orthopedic modifications for first time clients must be accompanied by a prescription completed by a foot care professional. Once in our system, additional prescriptions will only be required if there are changes to the client’s needs.

If you are a patient needing orthopedic shoe modifications, please print out the prescription form and have your medical foot care professional fill it out. We will then work from this prescription to modify your footwear.

If you are a foot care professional and will be forwarding your client’s shoes directly to us, please ensure a completed prescription is included. We will be happy to give you a supply of our prescription pads if needed, just send us a note from our ‘contact us’ page.
